ALL FILTRATION TECHNOLOGIES UNDER ONE ROOF
Spin Klin™ Disc Technology
All polymeric depth filtration with high dirt holding capacity, effective cleaning and consistent filtration results.
Spin KlinTM disc technology uses thin, color-coded polymeric discs that are diagonally grooved on both sides to a specific micron size. A series of these discs are stacked and compressed on a specially designed spine, with the top groove in the opposite to the groove below. This creates a filtration element with a significant series of channels, effectively trapping the solids. The disc stack is enclosed in corrosion and pressure resistant housing.

Water Types
Highly efficient depth filtration, suitable for all water types, with excellent removal capacity of high loads of organic suspended solids

Filtration Element
High quality color-coded polymeric grooved discs, diagonally grooved on both sides to a specific micron size, stacked and compressed on the unique Spin KlinTM spine.

Self-Cleaning
Pressure is released, raising the cylinder and decreasing the compression on the discs. Jets of filtered water are forced through the nozzles along the spine, dislodging the trapped solids which are then flushed out.

Filtration Degree
10-400 micron

Advantages
Highly efficient, automatic depth and surface disc filtration technology for handling high dirt loads, especially organic

Highlights
Precise and automatic filtration, cost effective, polymeric corrosion free components, minimal and simple maintenance.

Additional Technologies

Screen Technology
Suction-scanning screen technology combines focused flush with automation to provide 100% cleaning of the screen area. The success of this technology has established Amiad as a global leader in providing water filtration solutions. Read more

Microfiber Technology
Amiad’s fiber thread technology to create a self-cleaning filter system. The filtration element is a thread cassette - fine threads are wound over a rigid grooved base plate that are mounted on hollow collector pipes. Read more

Media Technology
Depth and surface filtration with media filters is done by filtering water through a thick layer of graded particles - sand, gravel or other granular materials - called a filter bed. Read more
